Drawing on the proven techniques of Clown Doctors Australia’s Laughter Care program, you’ll learn simple, practical ways to bring gentle playfulness back into your daily interactions.
We will explore how play can spark smiles, ease tension, and open up new pathways of connection with your loved one, helping you build rewarding moments together.
You’ll also discover how these playful approaches can support your wellbeing – reducing stress, lifting your spirits, bringing joy.
Playfulness in Care Workshop Structure
Participants: This workshop is designed for carers who are living with loved ones who have dementia, or for family members or friends who are seeking new ways to engage with their loved ones living with dementia.
Duration: 2 hours
Number of Participants: Up to 16
