Acknowledgement of Country
Clown Doctors Australia acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities, carrying with it a rich tapestry of stories, creativity, and traditions that have been woven through the Dreamtime. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who call this land home.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Position Statement
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
At Clown Doctors Australia, our goal is to transform healthcare environments through connection, empowerment and hope.
We go anywhere healthcare teams needs us to provide consistent support. We build trust through authentic connections with people receiving healthcare, families and carers, and healthcare workers.
We believe that everyone matters. We value the diversity of our communities and work with and provide support to all people, regardless of any personal characteristics such as gender, nationality, identity, age, race, religion, sexual orientation, political opinion, family situation, social status, education or medical status.
We are committed to fostering a culture that is inclusive of different backgrounds and perspectives and that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within Clown Doctors Australia, and externally in the way we work with partners and stakeholders.
Our aim is to provide a workplace where all those who work with us feel safe, that they belong and are respected and able to do their best work.
We are committed to working with our staff, performers and stakeholders to identify where our DEI focus should be, clarify areas of training and/or knowledge sharing that will create a common understanding of Clown Doctors Australia’s DEI commitment, and to implement practical changes to our work practices that support that commitment.
